A Challenge Met...

A million dollar machine can be brought to a halt by the failure of a critical part. Here is an example of a part that one manufacturer of an important medical testing machine frequently needs to ship. The biggest problem was that the part often arrived broken due to inadequate packaging. The first two photos show the part and its original packaging.

As you can see, this box has been around, having been shipped back and forth many times. But the delicate part arrived broken one too many times. PSGI was brought in for a solution, and diagnosed the problem as a poor foam selection and an inadequate shell.

PSGI re-engineered the container, providing a hard core outer shell and the proper foam protection. Result: delivery is now assured in the same condition as shipped.
